Theater: THE THIN PLACE by Lucas Hnath

Everyone who ever died is still here, just in a different part of here. Linda can communicate with them. And if you believe, like Hilda does, she can make you hear them, too -- in the thin place, the fragile boundary between our world and the other one. This immersive ghost story transforms the theater space into an intimate séance. Award-winning playwright Lucas Hnath crafts a suspenseful and unnerving testament to the power of storytelling that will keep you on the edge of your seat and send you home with nightmares.

Performance: GHOST STORIES by Josh Hitchens

A disfigured man comes out of the bedroom closet when the lights go out. The things on the stairs. Something sinister that waits in the deep, dark woods. The consequences of using a Ouija board. In this chilling solo performance, Josh Hitchens relates these tales and more - and they're all true. A horrific and deeply moving piece about confronting the demons that haunt you in the dark.
"Hitchens is an intimate, compelling storyteller, and these tales flow from pathos to laughter to chills under the direction of Ryan Walter...Whether or not you believe in ghost stories isn't important. Every well told story has a grain of truth, and you can find ones here that mean something to you...Being afraid demands a primal human bond that laughter, suspense, excitement, or even sadness never will. Maybe ghost stories aren't about fear at all, but about that underlying vulnerability and the magnetic connections that follow." - Alaina Johns, Broad Street Review.
Josh Hitchens is available for readings and presentations about the haunted history of Delaware and Philadelphia.
The perfect spooky event for your bookstore, local library, school, museum, historic site, club, or in your own home.
